MISSION KIDS

Mission Kids Classrooms

NURSERY (BIRTH – 3 YEARS)
Children are cared for by loving volunteers who have a heart for young children. Christ’s love is shown through play, singing songs, and reading books with the children while physical needs are met.

PRE-K (3 YEARS - START OF KINDERGARTEN)
Each week children will hear a Bible lesson; most children will make it through the entire Bible chronologically during their time in the Pre-K class.  They will learn to praise God through a time of worship and scripture memory.  Their lessons are supplemented with topic reinforcing crafts and games.  There is also plenty of time for fellowshipping  with friends through play.

ELEMENTARY (2ND GRADE  & 3RD GRADE - 5TH GRADE)
We divide the elementary age children into two groups based on grade level.  This allows for smaller class groups to have age appropriate discussions, as well as cater their lesson reinforcing activities and crafts to the specific ages in each class.

Large Group Worship
Children are led in worship each week in a large group setting.  They love this time of singing and learning what it means to worship God.  We have a group of talented children that lead worship once each month, emulating the experience of being on the adult worship team.

Large Group Teaching
We believe the Word of God should be taught boldly and correctly. Each week, teachers open their Bibles in order to teach the children accurately and with conviction.  The children are being taught to open their own Bibles, ask questions, and work hard to understand what is written in God's Word.  As teachers, we work to keep the lessons engaging and relatable.

Security

We are committed to the safety, security and well-being of every child. All children are checked into their classes using our computerized check-in system which includes a numbered code that matches parents and children.

We limit the access only to parents and Mission Kids volunteers. Also, all of our volunteers go through a thorough background check process before they are allowed to serve in any children’s area. This includes criminal and sex offender checks.
